MEET THE SECRETARIAT
Krishna Medidi, Secretary-General (SG)
The SG is in charge of ensuring the success of the WASMUN conference and providing its overarching infrastructure, including assembling a Secretariat and reporting to the WASMUN Board. Krishna Medidi is a Senior at the University of Washington double majoring in Political Science and Economics. An aspiring attorney, what especially interests Krishna about the United Nations is being able to witness member states with diverse interests and perspectives collaborate and compromise to get stuff done. Tackling his second term as Secretary-General, Krishna hopes to build on WASMUN’s past successes to make 2017 our best conference yet!
Contact the SG regarding anything relating to WASMUN, especially relating to financing, registration, and travel concerns.

Tiffany Dao is a Senior at the University of Washington majoring in Laws, Societies, and Justice and minoring in Political Science. Tiffany’s deep experience both as a delegate and staff at Model UN conferences informs her efforts this year to develop an innovative, engaging, and educational experience for all delegates. This is Tiffany’s second year on the WASMUN Secretariat, and she is so excited to meet all the delegates in March, especially new delegates!

His one piece of advice for new delegates: “Things will always work out!” With his extensive background in computer science and love for Russian hats, Stephen is just the everyman for WASMUN’s technical needs.
